Crochet spring bird free pattern

Those who have just started their crochet journey would love these spring birds with the free amigurumi pattern. Just crochet the bird shape with pretty yarn and then crochet a beak in beige color.

Materials:

• Yarn: YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 100 g/160 m), YarnArt Begonia (100% cotton, 50 g/160 m) for feet and beak
• Hook size: 2.5 mm and 1.75 mm (for feet and beak)
• 4 mm black beads for eyes
• Black embroidery floss
• Sewing needle and scissors
• Fiberfill

Abbreviations:

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
F.o. = finish off

Assembly
Attach yarn on R 1 of the head and crochet: (5 ch, sl st) *6

Sew wings on the sides of the body, sew tail between R 6 and R 7 of the body.
Sew black beads on R 13 at the distance of 9 st from each other.
Sew beak between R 14 and R 15, cheeks on R 15.
