Crochet heart keychain free pattern

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
( )*6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated

Crochet in rounds!
You will crochet two humps of the heart first in separate pieces and follow instructions to join them and decrease to form the point.
First piece
R 1: 2 ch, 5 sc in the 2nd loop from the hook (or 5 sc in magic circle)
R 2: (inc)*5 (10)
R 3: (1 sc, inc)*5 (15)
R 4: 15 sc
Fasten off.
Second piece
R 1: 2 ch, 5 sc in the 2nd loop from the hook (or 5 sc in magic circle)
R 2: (inc)*5 (10)
R 3: (1 sc, inc)*5 (15)
R 4: 15 sc
Do not fasten off after completing R 4 of the second piece.
These are the two humps of the heart.
Crochet the pieces together.
R 5: Join two pieces with sl st, 15 sc on the 1st piece, 15 sc on the 2nd piece (30)
