Hair
Cut the Alize Cotton Gold yarn into pieces. Fold the piece in half and draw its center through the stitch of the head with your hook, making a loop. Pick up two strands, draw them through the loop and tighten.
Add yarn piecies for hair at the distance of one row and one stitch from each other. On the top of the head add yarn piecies in every row and in every stitch.
I am trying to figure out why when I do the blue yarn mine does not look like the picture of the mermaid. In the picture it looks like it sticks out and mine doesn’t look that way. Row 27 says to BLO (6 sc, inc) 3 times which gives you 24 and then it says FLO inc in every st to end of row. So I sc in the front loop for the increases?? What am I doing wrong????
Has anyone ever made up these mermaids. I am stuck and would appreciate if someone could answer me about row 27 for the body. When you look at the mermaid it looks like the top of the body sticks out. Well when I do the row with BLO (6 sc, inc.)*3 (24) stitches FLO inc in every st across the row. Mine does not look like that. I am Crocheting 6 st in BLO and the increase in FLO. repeating 3 times. Am I doing that right!!!!!! Please answer me soon. Need it for Great granddaughters birthday party.
