Don’t sew the hat to the head.
Where is the part of the pattern that is for the body. Thank you!!
Angie, the head and the body is one piiece.
How can the body and head be one piece, there is only directions for one piece that looks like the body,
The Row 21 is the neck.
Read again, confused me too. Works from bottom up, neck, then head. When to stuff I’m not sure
Loving this pattern, can you pls advise on eye size used. Thanks
Thank you for your generosity in sharing this adorable pattern.
Okay so I read through the directions and have a few questions.
1st. Are the directions starting with the body or head?
2nd. What size safety eyes and what row did you place them?
3rd. You have for the arms to make a popcorn stitch. But you did not explain how to make it. The reason for this is maybe some people may not know how to make it and there ate different ways to do it. So can you explain how you did the stitch?
4th znd last question is what weight is the yarn you suggested to use. Sometimes we can’t always find the same yarn used fir patterns. I’ve runned into this quite offen.
Joyce, if you read through the pattern you would know where it starts. Place the eyes where you think they should go. You can find the instructions for a popcorn stitch anywhere on the internet. Use the size of yarn you wish, the thicker the yarn the larger the snowman will be. Sorry, but this pattern is not rocket science.
So..to actually answer atleast one of your questions… the body and head are attached and it starts with the body.. the yarn, not sure, i just usedan some thing that i thought would look nice and work with that gauge.. I agree with the popcorn stitch…I have elected to not do and just try to complete without it for now.. good luck!
How do I print the pattern. I have tried everything I could think of. I have Parkinson’s and I crochet very slow, thus the screen goes blank and I must keep finding my place. I just love this snowman!
Kathy, you can use a converter HTML to PDF online.
i was wondering what do you stuff the body and head with
cant i buy the toy somewere please i cant make it, im from south africa
This is the first toy I made. It’s so darn cute. Mine doesn’t look as cute as yours but I just need practice. Can you tell me what size eyes you used?
Thanks so much for the FREE pattern.
How much yarn do you use in the different color?
Quick question! How do you get the rosy cheeks??? Thanks in advance!
what size eyes does it call for thank you in advance
I used a 4 weight yarn a d used 10mm eyes
How much of this yarn is used for the snowman himself ?? I can’t find anywhere that says how many skeins ?? Thanks so much in advance !! 🙂
Is the pattern using English or American style Crochet stitches?
American
No mention of placement of arms, which I assume just below the neck, and how far back for the legs. Are the buttons MC or buttons? Thanks for sharing.
Hi leg row 9 says 2sc, 10 SC. Looking at the count I’m sure it’s supposed to be 2 Dec, 10sc. Thank you for the adorable pattern!!!!
