How much yarn do I need to make this?

  2. NaKisha says:

I feel like the picture doesn’t go with this pattern. I have made this unicorn twice and not only is this pattern incomplete but it looks nothing like the picture.

  3. Tonya says:

I made this and the pattern and the picture do not match. Don’t waist your time. Pick a different pattern.

  4. Kelli says:

Where are the instructions for sewing this together?

    • Daisy says:

It appears that when you make the body you crochet the arms and legs into it, however there aren’t instructions on where to put the tail, ears, mane, or horn. So, I will be going off of the pictures to try to see where the creator put them and then I might adjust it to make it look how I want it to. Hope that helps, that is what I was thinking 🙂

  5. Cheryl says:

I’ve made this unicorn twice and I didn’t find any problems with the pattern!
Both came out exactly like the picture!!

    • Lilli says:

Hey! Do you know how to put the arms and legs on??
I’m not sure if you put the leg down and sew it on or if you put it upwards. Do you know what I mean? xx

      • Marie says:

Attaching the arms and legs is included in the body section of the instructions.

  6. Lillyan Duffin says:

What does R14 on the body mean? I’ve never seen a pattern say 18sc+2sc. I’ve tried looking it up and I still don’t understand this row.

    • Amiguroom Toys says:

2 sc are additional sc to place the arms in the correct place.

      • Nisha says:

Where these 2sc should be done?

        • Tami Clanton says:

It’s to adjust where the row ends. You do your 18sc to complete your round, then the next 2sc technically go into the next round. But the pattern writer wants those 2sc to stay in round 14. This way the arms will line up with legs. I hope that helps.

    • Hilde says:

When you have done row 13 and 14 with 18 stiches, you just crochet two extra . Or else the arms will not match with the legs 🙂

  7. Laurine says:

    J’adore merci beaucoup <3

  8. Brandi says:

So my horn is flat not round am I supposed to stitch the sides together it doesn’t say

    • Kelley says:

It’s worked in a round so you should be going in a circle continuously. Look up a YouTube video on amigurumi horns to get a better idea. 😊

Loved the pattern, came out perfect and I used a smaller gauge yarn and hook. Thanks so much for offering this pattern, I think it was well written and easy to follow.

  11. Jean Baker says:

Love this little unicorn came out exactly like the pattern thank you .

  12. Sherri says:

I have no idea how u get that head to stay put and not rock all over the place. Plus I put lots of fiberfill in the neck area. His body is like a dead chicken and his head looks like an opossum. It was definitely a waist of my time and I’ve crocheted for 58 years. Not happy at all.

  13. Melissa says:

Love this pattern, my unicorn turned out so flicking cute. The pattern was super easy and quick.
    Thank you for sharing.

  14. Malena says:

I didn’t have any problems with the pattern when crocheting it but I think the head is a little disproportionate. I also found that it is not explained how to arrange the legs and arms. It doesn’t say which turn to place the ears. I think this pattern is not from the person who published it and to avoid problems she omitted some details. This taught me that I am going to read the entire pattern before I start crocheting.

  15. Michelle says:

In the process of making this one. So far so good here. The instructions are good. If read through first.

    • tamela says:

I agree read carefully so many people are saying no assembly instructions. However I’d you reread the pattern there are “experienced level” assembly directions. On the head r14 says” inserting safety eyes….
